Week 2: AAC Baseball Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Ryan Coughanour of Truett McConnell and Josh Shelly of Tennessee Wesleyan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the second edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Feb. 16.
AAC Pitcher of the Week
Ryan Coughanour - Truett McConnell - Junior
- Collected 2 wins on the week, allowing no runs on 4 hits in 7 innings of work.
- Struck out 9 and walked none.
- This is his first weekly honor this season.
AAC Player of the Week
Josh Shelly - Tennessee Wesleyan - Senior
- Batted .700 in helping Tennessee Wesleyan go 3-0 on the week.
- Drove in 10 runs and scored 6 times.
- Had 4 doubles and 1 triple for a 1.300 slugging percentage.
- This is his second weekly award this season.
