Week 4: AAC Baseball Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Ashe Ammerlaan of Montreat and Will Curcio of Bryan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the fourth edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 2.
AAC Pitcher of the Week
Ashe Ammerlaan - Montreat - Senior
- Allowed only 1 hit and walked 1 in 6 innings of work in a 7-0 win over Morris (S.C.).
- Earned the win while allowing no runs with 15 strikeouts.
- This is his first weekly honor this season.
AAC Player of the Week
Will Curcio - Bryan - Sophomore
- Batted .529 in helping Bryan go 5-0 on the week.
- Hammered 6 times, while driving in 14 runs and scoring 10 times.
- Had a 1.588 slugging percentage.
- This is his third weekly award this season.
