Week 6: AAC Baseball Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Travis Dannecker of Spartanburg Methodist and Allan Gil Fernandez of Tennessee Wesleyan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the sixth edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 16.
AAC Pitcher of the Week
Travis Dannecker - Spartanburg Methodist - Senior
- Tossed a complete-game, 3-hitter in a 5-1 win over Pikeville.
- Stuck out 7 batters and walked 2 in 9 innings of work.
- Allowed 1 earned run.
- This is his first weekly honor this season.
AAC Player of the Week
Allan Gil Fernandez - Tennessee Wesleyan - Junior
- Batted .400 in helping Tennessee Wesleyan go 3-1 on the week.
- Hammered 4 home runs, while driving in 97runs and scoring 8 times.
- Had a 1.200 slugging percentage.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
