Week 8: AAC Baseball Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Colby Reynolds of Johnson and David Ballenilla of Tennessee Wesleyan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the eighth edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 30.

AAC Pitcher of the Week
Colby Reynolds - Johnson - Senior

• Tossed 7 shutout innings in a 10-0 complete-game, win over Plikeville.
• Stuck out 4 batters and walked none.
• Gave up no runs on 3 hits.
• This is his first weekly honor this season.

AAC Player of the Week
David Ballenilla - Tennessee Wesleyan - Junior

• Batted .375 in helping Tennessee Wesleyan go 3-1 on the week.
• Belted 1 home run and drove in 11 runs.
• Lined 2 doubles and a triple for a .875 slugging percentage.
• Scored 6 runs.
• This is his first weekly award this season.
