Week 9: AAC Baseball Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Justin Jackson of Tennessee Wesleyan and Braxton Baird of Milligan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the ninth edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 6.
AAC Pitcher of the Week
Justin Jackson - Tennessee Wesleyan - Senior
- Tossed 7 shutout innings in a 12-0 complete-game win over Bluefield.
- Stuck out 9 batters and walked 1.
- Gave up no runs on 2 hits.
- This is his second weekly honor this season.
AAC Player of the Week
Braxton Baird - Milligan - Senior
- Batted .600 in helping Milligan go 3-0 on the week.
- Belted 1 home run and drove in 7 runs.
- Scored 6 runs and stole 2 bases
- This is his first weekly award this season.
