Football, Men's Volleyball Newest Championships Sponsored by the AAC
WALESKA, Ga. - The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) expands to 24 championships for the 2022-23 season with the addition of football and men's volleyball.
Six teams will compete for the title in football, while seven will battle it out for the men's volleyball crown.
Bluefield, Kentucky Christian, Point, Reinhardt, St. Andrews, and Union will play a five-game conference schedule to determine the football champion. The conference schedule begins Oct. 8 and concludes on Nov. 12. The NAIA Football Championship Series begins on Nov. 19 with the national championship game set for Dec. 17 in Durham, N.C.
Competing in men's volleyball are Bluefield, Life (Ga.), Reinhardt, St. Andrews, Truett McConnell, Warner, and Webber International. The conference tournament will be at the end of March and/or early April. The NAIA National Championship Tournament is set for April 11-15 in Des Moines, Iowa.
