Week 4: AAC Football Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Jovari Gamble of Kentucky Christian is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Football Offensive Player of the Week, while Chase Hall of Kentucky Christian and Levi Evans of Pikeville are the Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively.
The league announced the awards on Monday.
This is the fourth edition of the awards for the 2025 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Sept. 29.
AAC Defensive Player of the Week
Chase Hall - Kentucky Christian - Freshman
- Made 11 total tackles against NCAA Division I Morehead State (Ky.).
- Had 4 solo tackles and 7 assisted tackles.
- Had 1 tackle for a loss of 4 yards.
- This is his first weekly honor of the season.
AAC Offensive Player of the Week
Jovari Gamble - Kentucky Christian - Freshman
- Rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown on 7 carries in a 45-28 loss at NCAA Division I Morehead State (Ky.).
- Averaged 13.3 yards per carry.
- Had a long run of 75 yards.
- This is his first weekly honor of the season.
AAC Special Teams Player of the Week
Levi Evans - Pikeville - Sophomore
- Blocked 2 punts against Cumberland (Tenn.).
- Recorded 8 tackles with 5 solo stops.
- Had 0.5 sacks and 1.5 tackles for a loss.
- This is his first weekly honor of the season.
