Week 6: AAC Football Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Jackson Wasik of Kentucky Christian is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Football Offensive Player of the Week, while Ethan Binns of Point and Alex Hanson of Reinhardt are the Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively.
The league announced the awards on Monday.
This is the sixth edition of the awards for the 2025 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Oct. 13.
AAC Defensive Player of the Week
Ethan Binns - Point - Senior
- Made 13 total tackles in a 27-14 win over Bluefield.
- Had 5 solo tackles and 8 assisted tackles.
- This is his first weekly honor of the season.
AAC Offensive Player of the Week
Jackson Wasik - Kentucky Christian - Sophomore
- Passed for 329 yards and 2 touchdowns in a 42-6 win over Rio Grande.
- Completed 73 percent (27-of-37) of his passes.
- Also rushed for 4 yards and a touchdown on 8 carries.
- This is his second weekly honor of the season.
AAC Special Teams Player of the Week
Alex Hanson - Reinhardt - Sophomore
- Accounted for 10 points in the 40-16 win over Union Commonwealth.
- Was 2-for-2 on field-goal attempts with a long of 35 yards.
- Went 4-for-5 on PATs.
- Punted 1 time for 42 yards and placed the punt inside the 20.
- This is his first weekly honor of the season.
