Week 11: AAC Football Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Jackson Wasik of Kentucky Christian is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Football Offensive Player of the Week, while Dige Savage of Pikeville and Alex Hanson of Reinhardt are the Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively.

The league announced the awards on Monday.

This is the 11th edition of the awards for the 2025 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Nov. 17.

AAC Defensive Player of the Week
 Dige Savage - Pikeville - Junior

  • Had 6 tackles with 1 interception and 4 pass breakups in a 51-42 win over Kentucky Christian.
  • Made 5 solo tackles.
  • Recorded 1 tackle for a loss.
  • This is his first weekly honor of the season.

AAC Offensive Player of the Week
 Jackson Wasik - Kentucky Christian - Sophomore

  • Passed for 390 yards and 4 touchdowns against Pikeville.
  • Completed 59.5 percent (25-of-42) of his passes.
  • Had 2 rushing TDs as well.
  • This is his fourth weekly honor of the season.

AAC Special Teams Player of the Week
Alex Hanson - Reinhardt - Sophomore

  • Accounted for 15 points in the 69-10 win over Point.
  • Went 9-for-9 on PATs.
  • Made both field-goal attempts with a long of 33 yards
  • Punted once for 49 yards, placing it inside the 20.
  • This is his fifth weekly honor of the season.
