Week 12: AAC Football Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Jah Colbert of Reinhardt is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Football Offensive Player of the Week, while Jakari Nobles of Point and Alex Hanson of Reinhardt are the Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively.

The league announced the awards on Monday.

This is the 12th and final edition of the awards for the 2025 season.

AAC Defensive Player of the Week
 Jakari Nobles - Point - Junior

  • Recorded 4 tackles and intercepted 2 pass in a 41-20 win over Kentucky Christian.
  • Made 3 solo tackles.
  • Returned the 2 interceptions for 20 yards.
  • This is his first weekly honor of the season.

AAC Offensive Player of the Week
 Jah Colbert - Reinhardt - Senior

  • Rushed for 186 yards and 4 TDs and had a receiving TD in a 62-21 win over Pikeville.
  • The win clinched the AAC championship for Reinhardt.
  • The 186 rushing yards are the second-most in AAC history.
  • Tied the AAC record for most rushing TDs in a game (4).
  • Set the AAC records for most total TDs in a game (5) and points scored in a game (30).
  • This is his first weekly honor of the season.

AAC Special Teams Player of the Week
Alex Hanson - Reinhardt - Sophomore

  • Accounted for 14 points in the 62-21 win over Point.
  • Went 8-for-8 on PATs.
  • Made both field-goal attempts with a long of 40 yards
  • This is his sixth weekly honor of the season.
