Week 1: AAC Men's Basketball Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Jeffrey Clark II of Columbia International and Reshaun Hampton are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Basketball Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week.
The league announced the awards on Monday.
This is the first edition of the awards for the 2025-26 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Nov. 17.
AAC Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
Jeffrey Clark II - Columbia International - Sophomore
- Averaged a double-double for the week with 13.0 points and 12.0 rebounds per game as CIU went 2-0.
- Had 16 points and 9 rebounds in an 85-70 win over Southeastern (Fla.).
- Posted 10 points and 15 rebounds in an 87-77 win over Coastal Georgia.
- Also had 3 steals and 3 blocks on the week.
- This is his first weekly honor of the season.
AAC Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
Reshaun Hampton - Tennessee Wesleyan - Sophomore
- Averaged 22.3 points over 3 games.
- Poured in 29 points in a 95-93 win over Bethel (Tenn.).
- Added 22 points in an 84-72 loss to Tennessee Southern.
- Also had 5 assists, 5 rebounds, and 6 steals on the week.
- This is his first weekly honor of the season.
