WALESKA, Ga. - CJ Terrell of Spartanburg Methodist College and Livingston Cross of Johnson are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Basketball Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week.

The league announced the awards on Monday.

This is the 12th edition of the awards for the 2025-26 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Feb. 16.

AAC Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
CJ Terrell - Spartanburg Methodist - Freshman

  • Averaged a double-double last week with 14.0 points and 10.0 rebounds as SMC went 2-0.
  • 16 of his 20 rebounds were on the defensive end.
  • Blocked 4 shots and had 2 steals.
  • This is his second weekly honor of the season.

AAC Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
Livingston Cross - Johnson - Graduate Student

  • Averaged 22.7 points per game as Johnson went 3-0 on the week.
  • Shot 61.4 percent (27-of-44 shots) from the field and went 4-for-8 from long range.
  • Had 1 double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds in a 76-74 win over Bryan.
  • Averaged 9.7 rebounds per game.
  • Also had 6 assists, 5 steals, and 2 blocks.
  • This is his first weekly honor of the season.
