Week 3: AAC Men's Golfer of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Alex Murphy of Montreat is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Golfer of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the third edition of the weekly honors for the 2025-26 season. The award will be announced on Oct. 6.

Alex Murphy - Montreat - Junior 

• Tied for 11th at the East Tennessee Collegiate.
• Posted a two-round score of 2-under 142.
• Helped Montreat set a single-round program record (289) and a two-round tournament record (578).
• Montreat placed fifth as a team.
• This is his first weekly honor of the year.
