Week 6: AAC Men's Golfer of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Evan Cheek of Spartanburg Methodist is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Golfer of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the sixth edition of the weekly honors for the 2025-26 season. The award will be announced on Oct. 27.

Evan Cheek - Spartanburg Methodist - Freshman 

• Claimed medalist honors at the Pioneers Fall Invitational.
• The individual win was his second this season.
• Helped SMC to the team title.
• Posted a two-round score of 4-under 140 on the par-72 course, winning by 2 strokes.
• Fired a 70 on both rounds.
• This is his first weekly honor of the year.
