Milligan's DeBethencourt Earns Spot on All-Tournament Team; Reinhardt Finishes 13th
SILVIS, Ill. - The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) had a good showing in the NAIA Men's Golf National Championship with Francisco DeBethencourt of Milligan making the All-Tournament Team and Reinhardt placing 13th.
The four-day event was held at TPC at Deere Run in Silvis, Ill., on May 12-15.
DeBethencourt had a solid tournament, but he saved his best two rounds for the final two at nationals. After shooting plus-2 and plus-5 during the opening two rounds, he went 1-over during round three before recording a 1-under on the final round. He finished 12th overall at 7-over, one stroke away from tying for seventh.
By placing in the top 15, DeBethencourt earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team.
Reinhardt recorded a four-round finish of 64-over to place 13th. Mark Hodge Jr. led the Eagles individually as he placed 36th overall at 16-over.
