Week 5: AAC Men's Soccer Honors

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Jordan Dunstan of Bryan College and Jose Rubio of Reinhardt University are the Appalachian Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the fifth edition of the weekly honors for the 2016 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Oct. 3.
AAC Defensive Player of the Week
Jordan Dunstan - Bryan - Sr. - Defender - Mississauga, Ontario
- Was a key factor in Bryan recording 2 shutouts last week in going 1-0-1.
- Bryan tied Georgia Gwinnett (Ga.) 0-0 and defeated St. Andrews 5-0.
- Had an assist in the win versus St. Andrews.
- Bryan has not allowed a goal in over 350 minutes and has outscored opponents 25-4 this season.
AAC Offensive Player of the Week
Jose Rubio - Reinhardt - Sr. - Forward - Quito, Ecuador
- Recorded a goal and an assist as Reinhardt went 1-0 last week.
- Helped Reinhardt win 4-0 over Milligan in AAC play.
- Has 4 goals and 2 assists this season.
