TWU Makes NAIA Semifinal Run
MOBILE, Ala. - Tennessee Wesleyan represented the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) well as the lone conference team to advance to the 2025 NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship.
The five-day event was held at the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Ala.
Entering as the No. 2 seed, the Bulldogs received a first-round bye.
In the round of 16, Tennessee Wesleyan made short work of No. 15 seed Dillard (La.), winning 4-0.
Tennessee Wesleyan scored another 4-0 win in the quarterfinal round, taking down No. 7 seed SCAD Savannah (Ga.).
In the semifinal round, Tennessee Wesleyan went toe-to-toe with No. 3 seed Keiser but fell 4-2 in a heartbreaker.
This marks the fifth time in program history that Tennessee Wesleyan advanced to the semifinal round.
