Week 1: AAC Men's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - DJ McGriff-Agers of Columbia and Cameron Montgomery of Columbia International are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the first edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Jan. 19.

AAC Track Athlete of the Week
DJ McGriff-Agers - Columbia - Freshman

• Finished third in the 800.
• Registered a time of 1:59.
• This is his first weekly honor this season.

AAC Field Athletes of the Week
Cameron Montgomery - Columbia International - Junior

• Placed third in two events at the UNCA Collegiate Opener.
• Posted a distance of 15.25 meters in the shot put.
• Had a toss of 15.50 meters in the weight throw.
• This is his first weekly award this season.
