Week 2: Men's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Luis Peralta of Milligan and Trevor Sinard of Milligan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the second edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Jan. 26.
AAC Track Athlete of the Week
Luis Peralta - Milligan - Senior
- Won the 600 with a time of 1:19.19, registering an NAIA 'B' Standard.
- Helped the 4x800 relay team with a Mondo College Invitational, facility, and JDL college record time of 7:44.39.
- This is his first weekly honor this season.
AAC Field Athletes of the Week
Trevor Sinard - Milligan - Freshman
- Placed fifth in the shot put and eighth in the weight throw at the Mondo College Invitational.
- Had a toss of 13.99 meters in the shot put.
- Posted a distance of 15.56 meters in the weight throw.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
