Week 5: AAC Men's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Luis Peralta of Milligan and Cameron Montgomery of Columbia International are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the fifth edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 20.
AAC Track Athlete of the Week
Luis Peralta - Milligan - Senior
- Earned an NAIA 'A' Standard in the 800.
- Won the event with a time of 1:48.84, setting a program record.
- Time ranks first in the NAIA.
- This is his first weekly honor this season.
AAC Field Athletes of the Week
Cameron Montgomery - Columbia International - Senior
- Won the shot put and hammer throw at the Francis Marion Invite.
- Collected an NAIA 'B' Standard in the shot put with a throw of 16.20 meters.
- Had a toss of 52.20 meters in the hammer throw.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
