Beilstein, Loveless Earn Softball Weekly Accolades

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Allie Beilstein of Point and Emily Loveless of Reinhardt are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Softball Pitcher and Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the first edition of the weekly honors for the 2021 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 8.
AAC Pitcher of the Week
Allie Beilstein - Point - Sr. - Montgomery, Ala.
- Helped the Skyhawks go 6-0 on the week while allowing 1 run in 4 games pitched.
- Posted a 0.3 ERA on the week with 31 strikeouts in 23 innings pitched.
- Fanned 14 batters in a 3-0 win over Bluefield.
- This is her first weekly honor this season.
AAC Player of the Week
Emily Loveless - Reinhardt - Fr. - Rockmart, Ga.
- Batted .500 (13-for-26) with 10 RBI and 13 runs scored in 8 games last week as Reinhardt went 6-2.
- Went 4-for-4 with a double, 2 home runs, and 7 RBI in an 11-1 win over Columbia.
- Stole 1 base and walked 5 times.
- This is her first weekly award this season.
