Radke, Dailey Earn Softball Weekly Accolades
ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Reagen Radke of Reinhardt and Ariel Dailey of Union are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Softball Pitcher and Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the second edition of the weekly honors for the 2021 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 15.
AAC Pitcher of the Week
Reagen Radke - Reinhardt - Jr. - Grayslake, Ill.
- Helped Reinhardt go 4-0 on the week as she won 2 games and posted a 0.54 ERA.
- Allowed 1 earned run on 11 hits and 2 walks in 13 innings pitched.
- Struck out 6 batters on the week.
- Posted a three-hit shutout against Bryan.
- This is her first weekly honor this season.
AAC Player of the Week
Ariel Dailey - Union - Jr. - Versailles, Ky.
- Batted .636 (21-for-33) with 7 RBI and 11 runs scored in 8 games last week as Union went 3-5.
- Had 4 hits in 2 different games.
- Had 6 doubles, 1 triple, and 1 home run for a .970 slugging percentage.
- On a 9-game hitting streak.
- Stole 4 basea and walked 2 times.
- This is her first weekly award this season.
