2022 Tournament Bracket Announced; Bryan Earns No. 1 Seed
ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) released the 2022 AAC Softball Tournament bracket, and Bryan is the No. 1 seed.
The tournament begins Monday, April 25, and runs through Friday, April 29. The five-day event is being held at the Brickyard Ball Fields in Kingsport, Tenn.

Bryan won the regular season with a 24-4 conference record. This year, the AAC has two automatic berths to the NAIA National Championship Tournament, and Bryan receives one as the regular-season champion. The final automatic berth will be awarded to the tournament champion.
This year, 10 teams advance to the tournament. The tournament begins with the No. 7 and No. 10 seeds and the No. 8 and No. 9 seeds facing off in single-elimination contests with the winners advancing to the final eight and the double-elimination portion of the tournament.

*-Tennessee Wesleyan and Reinhardt split their doubleheader but Reinhardt is the No. 2 seed since it allowed Tennessee Wesleyan to score 9 runs while Reinhardt gave up 12. Milligan and Point split their doubleheader and scored 10 runs against each other. Both teams when 0-2 against Bryan, but Milligan swept Reinhardt while Point went 1-1 against Reinhardt to give Milligan the No. 6 seed. Union and Kentucky Christian split their doubleheader, but Union allowed only 7 runs with Kentucky Christian giving up 13 to give Union the No. 9 seed.
