Week 2: AAC Softball Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Madisun Pritchard of Johnson and Katie Cronin of Milligan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Softball Pitcher and Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the second edition of the weekly honors for the 2023 season. The next set of awards are set to be announced on March 6.

AAC Pitcher of the Week

Madisun Pritchard - Johnson - Freshman - Elizabethton, Tenn.

• Went 1-0 on the week, posting a shutout in Johnson's 8-0 win over Brevard (N.C.).
• Posted a complete-game, 1-hit win against the NCAA Division III school.
• Recorded 8 strikeouts and walked none.
• This is her first weekly honor this season.

AAC Player of the Week

Katie Cronin - Milligan - Senior - Greeneville, Tenn.

• Batted .625 in helping Milligan go 2-0 on the week.
• Drove in 2 runs and scored 3 runs.
• Had 1 double and 1 triple in posting a 1.000 slugging percentage.
• Stole 2 bases.
• This is her first weekly award this season.
