Team Stats
KINGSPORT, Tenn. - Two teams were eliminated on the second day of the 2025 WinWon Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Softball Tournament, whittling the field down to eight.
The five-day event is being held at the Brickyard Ball Fields in Kingsport, Tenn. (Directions)
WinWon is the title sponsor for the event.
The day started with a pair of elimination games. No. 5 seed Montreat used a seven-run third inning to propel itself past 10th-seeded Milligan. Haley Fethke homered and drove in three runs for the Cavaliers.
After falling behind 6-3 after four innings, No. 9 seed Columbia rallied for three runs in the fifth and two more in the sixth to move past third-seeded Truett McConnell. Ally Boyd collected three RBI, including the two go-ahead runs on her double in the sixth.
Top-seeded Reinhardt took care of business by posting an 8-0, six-inning victory over No. 8 seed Columbia International. Anslie Pettit struck out five in picking up the win. Ansley Hight homered and drove in four for the Eagles.
No. 7 seed Brenau lined 15 hits and took advantage of three Bryan errors in picking up the 8-3 victory. Dayton Power went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI.
Wednesday's action will begin with a pair of elimination games.
