Stone, Jenkins Earn NAIA All-American Honors
WALESKA, Ga. - The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) saw two players honored as NAIA Women's Basketball All-Americans.
Jaycie Jenkins of Milligan and Allie Stone of Pikeville earned NAIA All-America Third Team honors.
Both were All-AAC First Team selections, with Stone collecting AAC Player of the Year honors.
Stone led the AAC in scoring at 21.9 points per game and was second in 3-point shooting with a 44.9 shooting percentage. She also averaged 3.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.
Jenkins finished second in the league in scoring at 20.8 points per game and led the AAC in field-goal percentage and 3-point shooting at 54.8 percent and 49.2 percent, respectively. She also averaged 7.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.
