Week 5: AAC Women's Basketball Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Semaj Clark of Milligan and Brinkley Kate Reed of Truett McConnell are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Basketball Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week.
The league announced the awards on Monday.
This is the fifth edition of the awards for the 2025-26 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Dec. 15.
AAC Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
Semaj Clark - Milligan - Senior
- Hauled in 19 defensive rebounds and had 7 steals and 2 blocks as Milligan went 2-0 on the week.
- Averaged 16.5 points and 10.5 rebounds.
- Had 1 double-double.
- This is her second weekly honor of the season.
AAC Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
Brinkley Kate Reed - Truett McConnell - Junior
- Averaged 28.5 points as Truett McConnell went 1-1 last week.
- Poured in 30 points in a 73-65 loss to Union Commonwealth.
- Shot 51.5 percent (17-of-33) from the field and made 6-of-15 (40 percent) from 3-point range.
- Hit 17-of-19 (89.5 percent) from the foul line.
- Also had 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and 3 steals.
- This is her first weekly honor of the season.
