Week 8: AAC Women's Basketball Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Semaj Clark of Milligan and Caylie Long of Brenau are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Basketball Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week.
The league announced the awards on Monday.
This is the eighth edition of the awards for the 2025-26 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Jan. 19.
AAC Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
Semaj Clark - Milligan - Senior
- Averaged a double-double with 19.0 points and 13.5 rebounds as Milligan went 2-0.
- 20 of her 27 rebounds were defensive.
- Collected 4 steals.
- Also had 11 assists.
- This is her fifth weekly honor of the season.
AAC Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
Caylie Long - Brenau - Sophomore
- Poured in 31 points in a 69-67 win over Montreat.
- Finished with a double-double as she hauled in 10 rebounds.
- Made 12-of-15 shots (80 percent).
- Blocked 2 shots and stole 1 ball.
- This is her first weekly honor of the season.
