Week 9: AAC Women's Basketball Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Semaj Clark of Milligan and Destiny Middleton of Spartanburg Methodist College are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Basketball Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week.

The league announced the awards on Monday.

This is the ninth edition of the awards for the 2025-26 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Jan. 26.

AAC Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
Semaj Clark - Milligan - Senior

• Averaged 19.0 points and 9.5 rebounds as Milligan went 2-0.
• 16 of her 19 rebounds were defensive.
• Collected 3 steals and blocked 3 shots.
• Also had 7 assists.
• Recorded a double-double in a 72-64 win at Columbia with 20 points and 12 rebounds.
• This is her sixth weekly honor of the season.

AAC Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
Destiny Middleton - Spartanburg Methodist - Senior

• Averaged 21.0 points per game as SMC went 2-0 on the week.
• Shot 51.7 percent (15-of-29 shots) from the field and hit 7-of-13 shots (53.8 percent) from long range.
• Also had 7 rebounds, 8 assists, 7 steals, and 4 blocks.
• This is her first weekly honor of the season.
