2020-21 Women's Golf All-Conference Team Announced
ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) announced the 2020-21 Women's Golf All-AAC Team and Awards, and Alayna Perryman of Milligan is the Player of the Year.
The All-AAC Team has five on the first team and five on the second team. The overall Golfstat adjusted scoring average for each player and weight them at 60 percent and weight the four conference rounds at 40 percent are used to come up with a new adjusted stroke average to determine the first and second teams. The top five scoring averages will receive first team all-conference and the second five scoring averages will receive second team all-conference.
Joining Perryman on the first team are Kelsey Cassada of Tennessee Wesleyan, Michaela Lindahl of Milligan, Whitney Messer of Union, and Meryl Castle of Milligan. Making the second team are Grace Lansdel of Truett McConnell, Teagan Lovingood of Truett McConnell, Anika Blanton of Brenau, Sara Gwillin. of Montreat, and Alisa Mari Carabello of Bryan.
With Milligan winning the 2021 championship, Tony Wallingford of Milligan is the Coach of the Year.
