Week 5: AAC Women's Golfer of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Tayla Howroyd of Pikeville is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Golfer of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the fifth edition of the weekly honors for the 2023-24 season. The award will be announced on Oct. 27.

Tayla Howroyd - Pikeville - Junior

• Secured her first individual win of the season at the Gibson Bay Collegiate.
• Posted a three-round score of 12-over 228 to tie for first and then parred the first playoff hole to earn the medalist honors.
• Field consisted of four NAIA Top 25 teams ranked teams and another receiving votes.
• This is her second weekly honor of the year.
