McGhee, Foster Earn Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week Nods
ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Morgan McGhee of Reinhardt and Hope Foster of Truett McConnell are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the fifth edition of the weekly honors for the 2021 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 29.
AAC Defensive Player of the Week
Morgan McGhee - Reinhardt - Jr. - Marietta, Ga.
- Helped Reinhardt go 2-0 on the week thanks to 16 ground balls, 12 draw controls, and 6 caused turnovers.
- Also helped out with 7 goals and 4 assists.
- This is her second weekly award this season.
AAC Offensive Player of the Week
Hope Foster - Truett McConnell - Jr. - Dahlonega, Ga.
- Scored 81 goals and had 1 assist in Truett McConnell's 20-14 win over Tennessee Wesleyan.
- Added 4 ground balls.
- This is her second weekly award this season.
