McGhee, Haas Named Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Morgan McGhee of Reinhardt and Clarke Haas of SCAD Savannah are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the seventh edition of the weekly honors for the 2021 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 12.

AAC Defensive Player of the Week

Morgan McGhee - Reinhardt - Jr. - Marietta, Ga.

• Had 12 ground balls, 10 draw controls, and 5 caused turnovers as Reinhardt went 2-0 on the week.
• Added 7 goals and 2 assists.
• This is her fourth weekly award this season.

AAC Offensive Player of the Week

Clarke Haas - SCAD Savannah - Fr. - Pensacola, Fla.

• Scored 10 goals and had 2 assists as SCAD Savannah went 2-0 on the week.
• Added 2 ground balls. 
• Netted the 10 goals on 11 shots on goal.
• This is her first weekly award this season.
