2022 Tournament Bracket Released; SCAD Savannah Locks Up No. 1 Seed
ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The bracket for the 2022 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Lacrosse Tournament is out, and SCAD Savannah is the No. 1 seed.
SCAD Savannah won the regular-season championship with a 7-0 conference record.
The tournament is set for April 14-16 (Thursday-Saturday) and is being hosted by Reinhardt in Waleska, Ga.
The top six teams advance to the AAC Tournament. Those teams are:
- SCAD Savannah
- Reinhardt
- St. Andrews
- Montreat
- Truett McConnell
- Point
Truett McConnell, Point, and Tennessee Wesleyan all finished tied for fifth with a 2-5 record. Since none of the three teams defeated the other two, the tie was broken based on goals allowed in conference play. Truett McConnell landed the No. 5 seed as it allowed 106 goals in league play with Point giving up 119 to earn the No. 6 seed. Tennessee Wesleyan allowed 132 conference goals.
As the top two seeds, SCAD Savannah and Reinhardt receive a first-round bye and advance to the semifinal round.

Friday, April 15
Game 3 - No. 1 SCAD Savannah vs. Game 2 Winner, 11 am
Game 4 - No. 2 Reinhardt vs. Game 1 Winner, 1 pm
Saturday, April 16
Game 5 - CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - Game 3 Winner vs. Game 4 Winner, 12 pm
