Cumberlands Edges Reinhardt as Favorite to Win Women's Lacrosse Title
WALESKA, Ga. - Cumberlands is a slight favorite to win the 2026 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) women's lacrosse championship, according to the coaches' poll released on Wednesday.
The preseason poll was voted on by the women's lacrosse coaches of the AAC.
Cumberlands collected four of the seven first-place votes in amassing 46 points, edging Reinhardt, which garnered the remaining first-place votes, by one.
Reinhardt won the 2025 regular-season championship with a 5-0 league mark, while Cumberlands won the AAC Tournament. Both teams advanced to the NAIA National Championship Tournament, with Cumberlands making its way to the championship game.
Georgetown is third with 33 points.
