Week 2: AAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Danica Wittmann of Truett McConnell and Annabel Trauschke of Truett McConnell are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Soccer Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced on Monday.
This is the second edition of the awards for the 2025 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Sept. 8.
AAC Defensive Player of the Week
Danica Wittmann - Truett McConnell - Sophomore
- Made 9 saves in helping Truett McConnell to a 2-0 record.
- Recorded a shutout in a 1-0 win over Georgia Gwinnett.
- This is her first weekly honor of the season.
AAC Offensive Player of the Week
Annabel Trauschke - Truett McConnell - Senior
- Scored 2 goals and had an assist on the week, helping Truett McConnell to a 2-0 record.
- Netted the game-winner in both matches.
