WALESKA, Ga. - Emily Newman of Milligan is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Swimmer of the Week.
The league announced the award on Monday.
This is the first edition of the awards for the 2025-26 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Oct. 13.

Emily Newman - Milligan - Freshman
- Recorded 2 NAIA 'B' Cuts.
- Collected a 'B' Cut in the 200 freestyle (1:58.63) and 500 freestyle (5:26.19).
- Placed second in all 3 of her races, competing against Keiser and SCAD Savannah.
- This is her first weekly honor of the season.
