Women's Tennis Awards Announced

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - The 2025 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Tennis All-Conference Team and awards were announced on Thursday, and Shalimar Talbi of SCAD Atlanta is the Player of the Year. 

The awards were voted and selected by the women's tennis coaches of the AAC.

Also receiving individual accolades were Adrianna Kluska of SCAD Atlanta as the Freshman of the Year and Francisco Gallardo of Tennessee Wesleyan as the Coach of the Year. Tennessee Wesleyan was also awarded the regular-season trophy and banner.

In all, 11 were named to the All-AAC first team, five to the second team, and six to the All-Freshmen Team.

Nine were named to the Champions of Character Team, with dozens making the All-Academic Team.
