Miller, Morin Named Women's Outdoor Athletes of the Week
ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Nicole Miller of Reinhardt and Erica Morin of Montreat are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Outdoor Field and Track Athlete of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the fifth edition of the weekly honors for the 2021 season. The next set of awards are to be announced on April 26.
AAC Field Athletes of the Week
Nicole Miller - Reinhardt - Fr. - Marietta, Ga.
- Won the pole vault at the Running Eagles Open.
- Her height of 2.88 meters ranks third in the AAC.
- This is her first weekly award this season.
AAC Track Athletes of the Week
Erica Morin - Montreat - Jr. - Liberty, Texas
- Placed third in the 5000 in a field of NCAA Division I competitors at the Western Carolina Classic.
- Posted a time of 17:54.34.
- This is her first weekly award this season.
