Week 3: AAC Women's Volleyball Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Berkli Benefield of Union Commonwealth is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Volleyball Attacker of the Week, while Chloie Brinton of Pikeville and Kylee Sturgill of Bluefield are the Defender and Setter of the Week, respectively.

The league announced the awards on Monday.

This is the third edition of the awards for the 2025 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Sept. 15.

AAC Attacker of the Week
Berkli Benefield - Union Commonwealth - Senior

• Average 2.71 kills per set.
• Had 19 total kills, 2 digs, and 6 total blocks.
• This is her first weekly honor of the season.

AAC Defender of the Week
Chloie Brinton - Pikeville - Junior

• Averaged 5.50 digs per set.
• Posted 22 digs in 4 sets.
• Also had 28 assists and 1 ace.
• Recorded 1 double-double
• This is her first weekly honor of the season.

AAC Setter of the Week
Kylee Sturgill - Bluefield - Freshman

• Averaged 9.5 assists per game in helping Bluefield to a 3-0 win over Sweet Briar.
• Posted 19 assists.
• Also had 5 aces and one dig.
• This is her first weekly honor of the season.
