WALESKA, Ga. - Jenna Smith of Reinhardt is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Volleyball Attacker of the Week, while Megan Thompson of Tennessee Wesleyan and Chloie Brinton of Pikeville are the Defender and Setter of the Week, respectively.

The league announced the awards on Monday.

This is the ninth edition of the awards for the 2025 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Oct. 27.

AAC Attacker of the Week
Jenna Smith - Reinhardt - Junior

  • Averaged 3.57 kills per set as she had 50 in 14 sets.
  • Posted a .350 hitting percentage in helping Reinhardt to a 4-0 record.
  • Posted 18 kills in a 3-2 win over Lindsey Wilson (Ky.).
  • Added 11 digs and 6 blocks.
  • This is her second weekly honor of the season.

AAC Defender of the Week
Megan Thompson - Tennessee Wesleyan - Senior

  • Averaged 5.73 digs per set.
  • Collected 63 digs in 11 sets.
  • Had 28 digs in a 3-1 loss to Reinhardt.
  • Added 6 assists and 1 ace.
  • Registered a .951 serve receive percentage with 2 errors in 41 receptions.
  • This is her first weekly honor of the season.

AAC Setter of the Week
Chloie Brinton - Pikeville - Junior

  • Averaged 12.30 assists per set.
  • Had 123 assists in 10 sets.
  • Had 50 assists in a 3-1 win over Columbia International.
  • Recorded 1 double-double.
  • Also had 21 digs, 1 block, and 5 aces.
  • This is her fifth weekly honor of the season.
