Columbia International is the regular-season champion as it finished with 13.0 points in the standings. The Rams earned the No. 1 seed and received an automatic berth to the NAIA National Championship Tournament.
The AAC has one other automatic berth to award, which will go to the tournament champion.
Since teams play an unbalanced schedule with eight teams playing 21 conference games while seven teams play 20, a point system is used to determine the seeding for the tournament. A team receives a half-point for winning a match within its division and one point for a win over a team from the other division. In all, the maximum number of points a team can earn is 14.
Here are the tournament seeds:
- Columbia International (29-2, 19-1 AAC) - 13.5 points
- Reinhardt (23-6, 18-2 AAC) - 12.5 points
- Milligan (23-7, 18-3 AAC) - 12.0 points
- Johnson (27-6, 16-5 AAC) - 10.5 points
- Bluefield (19-12, 14-7 AAC) - 9.0 points
- Union Commonwealth (14-17, 12-9 AAC) - 8.5 points
- Pikeville (17-12, 12-9 AAC) - 8.0 points
- Truett McConnell (13-17, 10-10 AAC) - 7.0 points
- Montreat (9-11, 9-11 AAC) - 5.5 points
- Tennessee Wesleyan (10-21, 7-14 AAC) - 4.5 points*
*-Tennessee Wesleyan and Bryan tied for the No. 10 seed as both had 4.5 points. However, Tennessee Wesleyan swept the season series to earn the No. 10 seed.
